OptHome is committed to fair information practices and respects the privacy and security of its users. Information We Collect
OptHome collects and stores certain information from and about its users in three ways: directly from the user, from our Web server logs and with cookies.

We collect personally identifiable information when you register. We ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. For some services we might also ask for your address, Social Security number, Driver’s License number, and information about your assets. When you register with OptHome and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. All information is voluntarily provided to us by you. For example, you voluntarily provide personally identifiable information when you send us an email, use certain features of the Site such as Search Homes for Sale, or register with our Site as a real estate professional or join our Site as a homeowner.

In addition, during your visit we automatically collect certain aggregate information related to your Site visit. Aggregate information is non-personally identifiable or anonymous information about you, including the date and time of your visit, your IP address, your computer browser information, the Internet address that you visited prior to and after reaching our site, the name of the domain and host you used to access the Internet, and the features of our Site which you accessed.

Use of Cookies

We do not sell or rent personally identifiable information to third parties who are not affiliates of OptHome . We may disclose personally identifiable information to appropriate affiliates of OptHome , including strategic alliance affiliates, to respond to a request for service or provide information about available products or services, and to third party service providers. Security
OptHome protects user information with the following security measures: OptHome uses industry standard Hypertext Transport Protocol Secure and Secure Socket Layer with 128-bit encryption to protect the transmission of sensitive data over the Internet. OptHome uses encrypted persistent cookies to maintain session information in order to provide its visitors with a seamless experience. These encrypted cookies do not contain personal sensitive data and are deleted from a visitor’s web browser upon logging out or session time out. OptHome systems utilizes user IDs and passwords and administrative access to any confidential data is limited to appropriately trained and supervised staff. OptHome systems are housed within a secure, closely monitored data center facility that is isolated from the Internet by firewalls using industry standard port filtering, state-full packet inspection, network address translation and intrusion detection. Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his or her user ID and password and agrees to immediately notify OptHome of any unauthorized use of his or her user ID or password. OptHome will not be liable for any loss whatsoever arising from a user's failure to comply with these security requirements and agrees to hold OptHome harmless from any and all losses that arise from his or her failure to so comply.

Opt-Out Policy:
OptHome offers its visitors and registered customers a means to choose how we may use information provided. If, at any time after registering with OptHome you change your mind about receiving information from us or about sharing your information with third parties, send us a request specifying your new choice. Simply send your request to webmaster@opthome.com

Policy Changes
Each time you use the Site, the current version of the Privacy Policy will apply. Accordingly, when you use the Site, you should check the Privacy Policy and review any changes since the last version. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OPTHOME BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF THE INFORMATION OR MATERIALS ON THIS SITE, EVEN IF OPTHOME OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF OPTHOME HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts without giving effect to any principles of conflict of law.
