If you don't have any dryer sheets or fabric softener, you can use an old washcloth instead. Just place about quarter size amount of hair conditioner on it, fold it in half and throw it in the dryer with the laundry.
Use scissors as a makeshift pizza cutter
Before you head out to shovel snow this winter, first rub some vegetable shortening on the top and bottom of your shovel. This will prevent the snow from sticking and make for easier shoveling.
Help conserve water. Gather clean snow in a pail or pitcher and use the melted water on your indoor plants. Snow contains minerals that will benefit plants.
